Selected fine art photography from seven of the Center's exhibitions will be in an exclusive traveling show to Denver International Airport's main art gallery.
Selected fine art photography from seven exhibitions will be in an exclusive traveling show to Denver International Airport's main art gallery. The work will be on display from September through December 2006. Images will be selected by the Center's exhibitions director, Grace Norman, MFA, from exhibitions with a diverse range of themes:
● On the Road ● After Dark ● Positive – Negative ● Member’s Work
● Photo Works of the 21st Century ● On the Edge
● Myths
To maximize the exposure for the artists’, work will be rotated in and out of the DIA gallery. Between 45 and 55 images will be on display at any one time.
Artists can submit their work online on the Center’s website, www.c4fap.org.
DIA’s main gallery is located on the bridge connecting two main sections of the terminal. More than 54,000 passengers from around the world pass through the gallery daily. Additionally, family members, friends and associates of passengers also pass through the gallery.
The Center's mission is to promote the art of photography and to support the growth of creative artists. Through its gallery exhibitions, bi-monthly publication Artists’ ShowCase™ in CameraArts magazine and traveling exhibitions the Center brings artists’ work to the attention of the public, curators, art consultants and collectors.
