“Mercury is growing rapidly, and we wanted to automate several of our manual training processes to keep pace,” said Jake Hunter, Mercury’s e-learning coordinator. “We were looking for a total solution that would allow us to create proprietary online courses without having to rely on a third party vendor.”
Since August, the company released seven custom courses, which are available to all employees in addition to the LearnCenter’s library of courses. The most recently created course on Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard compliance will also be available to Mercury’s developer and dealer partners who create, sell and install point-of-sale systems in restaurants, supermarkets and retail locations.
“We were looking for a cost-effective, hosted solution that would allow us to manage content, create online courses, and track user progress in a user-friendly wrapper,” Hunter said. “With LearnCenter, we found it.”
