Representing the key sectors of academia, software vendors, practitioners, analysts and consultants, an internationally-recognized panel will present their views on the future of HR technology at a luncheon, Wednesday, April 12 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. The event will be a fitting finale to IHRIM’s three-day conference and expo – which includes 10 professional development seminars, more than 50 educational sessions, numerous networking events and more than 100 products and services exhibits in the exposition.

Bill Kutik, technology columnist for Human Resource Executive magazine, co-chairman of the magazine’s annual HR technology conference and expo, and leading independent analyst of the HR technology marketplace will serve a the panel moderator. Kutik has an extensive editorial background including managing editor of Computer Industry Daily and reporter for The New York Times and The New York Daily News. He’s been published in the IHRIM Journal and has a B.A. from Harvard University

Panelists include Karen Beaman, vice president and chief HCM strategist with WorkdayTM, the company recently formed by PeopleSoft founder, Dave Duffield. Prior to Workday, Beaman was managing partner of The Jeitosa Group and previously held global responsibility for ADP’s professional services across the Americas, Europe and Asia/Pacific. She has degrees from Old Dominion and Georgetown Universities, is co-founder and editor-in-chief of the IHRIM Journal, and editor of Boundaryless HR: Human Capital Management in the Global Economy (2002), Out of Site: An Inside Look at HR Outsourcing (2004), and Common Cause: Shared Services for Human Resources (2006). Beaman is a widely recognized international speaker and author.

Also on the panel will be Vinnie Mirchandani who has over two decades of experience as a software/outsourcing industry analyst (Gartner), outsourcing executive (with PwC, now part of IBM), entrepreneur (founder of marketplace, IQ4hire), sourcing/strategy adviser (Deal Architect), and technology litigation expert witness (for major software companies). Throughout his career he has been an influencer of trends in global software, information technology outsourcing services and business process outsourcing markets. With Deal Architect, he writes a blog on trends in global software and services – and innovative business uses of technology

Panel member Dr. Daniel P. Sullivan is associate professor of Management at the Alfred Lerner College of Business of the University of Delaware where he researches a range of topics including globalization and business, international management, global strategy, executive leadership and corporate governance. He’s been published in leading scholarly journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Management International Review, Law and Society Review, Academy of Management Journal and the IHRIM Journal. He is a frequent international speaker and consultant to several multinational enterprises.
