Serious media like television stations, news magazines and the daily papers publish their articles every minute in the Internet. The Alnera FeedBuster RSS Reader 1.0 presents itself as browser independent software solution. In its own window the program already presents a selection of interesting RSS feeds out of the news- and computer field.

It is very easy to add new RSS, ATOM or RDF feeds to the application. To do this, it is enough to copy the http-address of a feed into the clipboard and then to create a new entry in the RSS Reader. In this case FeedBuster inserts the web address automatically, so you only need to specify the feeds name. Many feeds can be found in RSS directories like Feedster ( www.feedster.com ).

The RSS reader automatically downloads the newest headlines of a feed and shows them in a long list. A mouse click on a new title slots in the appropriate message. If this text arouses the interest of the user, one mouse-click is enough to load the actual web page - directly in the RSS reader, that is equipped with an internal browser for this purpose.

Automatic updating of the RSS feeds

Don?t miss any message: Therefore the Alnera FeedBuster RSS Reader 1.0 is equipped with an internal time planner, who updates the RSS feeds again independently. This automatic reloading of new titles can happen every minute if necessary. Certainly it is more reasonable to advise the time planner to look every 30 or 60 minutes for new messages.

If the RSS reader finds something on the refresh process, a popup window will be displayed above the system tray, which informs about new titles. At the same time a sound signal can be heard. So the user doesn?t miss any message, even if he works concentrated on another application.
