USA OffenderSearch further distinguishes itself from other commercial sex offender databases or individual state registries available to the public by offering historical registrations that may no longer exist on public lists for a variety of reasons. In addition, USA OffenderSearch includes offender photos when available.
The value of USA OffenderSearch can be illustrated in the following example: A man was convicted of sex crimes in the state of California in 1995 and registered as a sex offender in that state. A few years later, he notified the State of California that he was moving out of state, so he was removed from the California Registry. He then moved to New Mexico, where he failed to register with his new state of residence as required by law.
A few years later, he moved to Arizona where he applied to work for a client of Universal. At this point, the man was not listed on any state sex offender registries. Since his conviction was in California and it occurred ten years prior, his record was not available for an employment background check under California law. Since the prospective employer is a client of Universal Background Screening and requests a USA OffenderSearch for each applicant as a part of their background screening package, the man’s prior status as a registered California Sex Offender was quickly identified, even though current registries in all three states showed no record of this individual.

Standard pricing for the instant USA OffenderSearch is $6.00 per name searched.
