IC Soft, Inc announced today the release of icTracker V7.0, the company’s project management, task management, and bug tracking software.
The new release adds ability to copy projects in addition to the suite of project management tools offered by icTracker. With this new feature, you can create project templates to speed up project plan creation. A project template is the generic project that holds all the necessary information (project documents, project notes, and common tasks, etc). This helps to ensure that the same tasks are done each time a project involves that particular area. This will also ensure that project managers do not waste valuable time going over the same set of common tasks for each project, they invest their time once, and the organization gets a payoff on that investment.
The new release also introduces My Workspace page to provide managers and employees to check status of just those projects that you are assigned to and to provide ability to access those outstanding tasks or issues (bugs) that require your immediate attention.
