Serial entrepreneur David Gass recently received the “2006 Rising Star of Business Award” presented by the Las Vegas Business Press. The award recognizes those business owners that have made a positive impact on their community in the past year and have a bright future ahead. The award was presented to Mr. Gass by Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman.
Mr. Gass founded Business Credit Services, Inc. in October of 2000 and recently formed a new company Business Marketing Services, Inc. in January of 2006. In addition Mr. Gass received this month the great honor of ‘Business Person of the Year” Award presented by Nevada DECA, a marketing, entrepreneurship and management organization for High School and College students. Mr. Gass’ contributions to the group included scholarships, speaking at local high schools about starting a small business, and having members of his staff donate time to the organization to assist students with competitive events and workshops. Mr. Gass was involved with the DECA organization as a student himself and found everything he learned while a part of the organization has assisted him in his entrepreneurial life.
