Press Release:

Author Chris Soebroto had had enough of jet lag. After decades of suffering its effects for a week or longer, he stumbled on a procedure that avoids jet lag. In No more Jet Lag, published in conjunction with Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world’s fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books, he explains how air travelers can fly without jet lag.

What jet lag is: scientists agree that the cause of jet lag is in the pineal gland. It produces melatonin, the hormone that plays a role in regulating our wake-sleep rhythm. When daylight fades the natural production of melatonin increases (give or take a few hours) and we begin to feel sleepy. Since there are early sleepers and night owls it suggests that the production of melatonin is not exclusively linked to the end of the day. The pineal gland has its own 'clock' and does not respond immediately to sudden and significant changes in the day-night cycle (the circadian or wake-sleep rhythm).

Jetting themselves across the planet air passengers confuse their body, disturbing its wake-sleep rhythm. For every hour of time difference, the body needs one day to recover. Some scientists even claim that jet lag makes our brain to shrink temporarily. All agree that jet lag causes disorientation, headache, sleep disorders and more.

“More than ninety percent of air passengers suffer from this health condition. The problem is that most take it for granted,” said Chris Soebroto. “So did I, until I realized that I had adopted a simple procedure without even realizing it. Now, after only one night’s sleep my body clock is in sync with the new time zone.”
