Scott Geller, President of Cow Country Enterprises, an International company based in Appleton, WI., joined Ahman Green and William Henderson of the Green Bay Packers in support of Providence Academy's "Spring Swing" golf fundraiser, helping sack over $20,000. Geller, a Former West Point Staffer, was quoted as saying, "What an honor to team up with a number of my favorite Packers, local celebrities, and other business owners to benefit such a fine faith-based school. Education and faith are at the foundation of the best schools in our history, and with this school's rock solid Classical and Caring core education, it's right and proper for them to join those elite ranks."

Like good fishing, good education focuses on how to learn. Classical education achieves this through a three-stage process: a Grammar stage drills facts (grades K-6), a Logic stage hones analytical thinking (grades 7-9), and a Rhetoric stage develops effective self-expression (grades 10-12). Students graduate with something more valuable than a collection of subjects - a method for mastering any subject.
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. This timeless quote captures the spirit and value of classical education, and makes it clear why so many have rallied to help Providence," said Scott Geller, President of Cow Country Enterprises.
"Cow Country Enterprises continues to demonstrate their love of children, education, and non-profits in general. Through their generous donation of $600 web design certificates, they have enabled Providence Academy to continue providing excellent faith-rooted classical education to children in the Greater Green Bay area," stated Janice Mandich of Providence Academy. A portion of the proceeds will also help to support the foundations/charities of participating Green Bay Packer Players.
