Press Release:

Nationally recognized artists Jason Goad, Dave Quiggle, Josh Cole and Asterik Studio are joining forces through 70 Star 7 Industries (http://www.70star7.com) to create a limited edition line of T-shirts to support charity.

Each artist involved has been given free reign to design a T-shirt however they would like and the designs will be unveiled to the public via the 70 Star 7 website at midnight on July 28 when the official site launches. Only 70 of each shirt will be printed and for each shirt sold, over 50% of the proceeds will go to charity, with a portion going to a charity of the artist’s choice and another portion being given to the artist so they can donate to an individual or family in need in their own communities.

“These are some of the most popular and talented artists around,” says 70 Star 7 Industries co-founder Josh Cole. “People are lining up to give them cash to work on projects, but they believe enough in this cause that they are freely donating their talents to affect the world and community through 70 Star 7.”

Mocha Club (www.mochaclub.org), the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) and First Candle/SIDS Alliance (www.firstcandle.org) are three of the charities that will be supported through 70 Star 7’s first release of limited edition shirts. New artists and new charities will be featured with each new batch of shirts created and 70 Star 7 has partnered with Stuph Merchandising (www.stuphmerch.com) to handle the production of each line of apparel.

“Our hope is that people take away the importance of forgiveness and the experience of giving to others. The ultimate goal would be for someone who has one of these shirts to be reminded of who they gave to and the feeling that comes along with giving and go back out and continue giving of themselves in their communities,” Cole states.

70 Star 7 Industries is a joint venture between Josh Cole and Chris Rader that was started with the purpose of creating awareness of art, artists and charities and to encourage consumers to get involved with charities in their local communities.
