Multidmedia Limited (MDM), today launched its first ever contest with over $1000 worth of Flash software on offer to the winners.

The contest was launched to coincide with MDMs fourth birthday celebrations and has a unique twist in that it caters for both the Flash Design and Development community. Consisting of two separate briefs, Flash Designers will have to create a banner showing the benefits of MDMs industry leading title, Zinc v2.5, whilst Flash Developers have to create a widget which demonstrates how easily Flash and Zinc can be used to create desktop applications.

The winners of each respective brief will receive a Flash goodie bag including Swift 3D from Erain, SWF Encrypt from Amayeta, Squeeze from Sorenson Media, Flash components from Flash Loaded and MDM Zinc. The winners will also get their work showcased on the MDM website.

The contest deadline is 21st August 2006 and winners will be chosen by members of MDM staff with entrants being judged on everything from creativity, functionality and innovation.

MDM Managing Director, Jaspal Sohal said The contest is the first of its kind in that it caters for both our Design and Development community and it reflects the diverse user network that Zinc has established over the past four years.
