Dr. Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D. is a cellular biologist, author, and former Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin's School of Medicine. His pioneering research on cloned human cells at Wisconsin and Stanford University’s School of Medicine presaged the revolutionary field of epigenetics, the new science of how environment and perception control genes. Bruce’s revolutionary studies integrating conventional medical science, complementary medicine and spiritual healing have made him an internationally sought after lecturer. His best selling book, "The Biology of Belief" was released last year.
Dr. Edgar Mitchell Sc.D., Apollo XIV Astronaut and the sixth man to walk on the moon, founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, was a 2005 nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize. Dr. Mitchell’s extraordinary and varied career personifies humankind’s eternal thrust to widen its horizons as well as explore its inner soul. "Hands on", "psychic", "distance", "spiritual" and healing by many other names, has been practiced in cultures all over the world for millennia. Such practices began to fall into disrepute after the seventeenth century, with the rise of a materialist science in the western world, since science had no way to account for nor explain these events. They belonged to the realm of mind, and were not considered a fit subject for scientific discourse.
