QMIND, the leader in collaborative rich media design software, announced a major update to their web-based design collaboration software that enables professional e-learning and marketing design teams to collaboratively design and manage rich media content.
QMIND, Inc. today announced the Summer 2006 Update release to its Design Collaboration Platform used by e-learning and creative design professionals to streamline team-based content development and management. The update includes several new multimedia production capabilities, an open Flash API, and usability enhancements.
Originally released in October of 2005, QMIND's design collaboration software addresses struggles that are commonly faced by e-learning and marketing design teams: improving collaboration on storyboard design, managing the review and feedback cycle of digital assets, and speeding production of storyboards into interactive Flash content. QMIND offers its web-based platform on a per user subscription basis.
Some of the new features in the update include: conversion of MS Word documents into interactive Flash multimedia, enhanced tools for creating non-linear (user-driven) branching navigation, and an API enabling Flash programmers to extend the multimedia production capabilities of QMIND.

The release of this product update follows an extensive QMIND customer feedback program, involving interviews and focus groups.
