Bodybuilding.com released today an exclusive interview with Kelly Ryan, former IFBB Fitness Champion, who is being held at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada accused, along with husband Craig Titus, of murdering her live-in female assistant Melissa James on December 14, 2005.

For the first time in 9 months, Ryan allowed Bodybuilding.com feature writer and fitness industry journalist Brenda Kelly to interview her friend and colleague of many years. "This sad, morbid story seems to have invoked a thrilling type of interest in print publications around the world, on TV and full force on Bodybuilding Internet Boards as well," writes Kelly.
On December 14, 2005, the Mountain Springs Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire where the burned remains of an unidentified person were discovered in the trunk of the 2003 Jaguar owned by Kelly Ryan. Both Ryan and Titus said they believed Melissa James took the car without permission. Titus later admitted to detectives he was having an affair with James that his wife Ryan did not know about. Ryan and Titus were later arrested on murder, arson and accessory to murder charges.
"Kelly (Ryan) doesn't view this time spent in the Clark County Detention Center in any other way except as a blessing from God. She feels God needed her where she is for good reason. She has never felt so sure of this faith and trust in God and lives by it minute by minute, day by day," wrote Brenda Kelly.
