AmDeck TM implements full 10 inch deep lightweight steel joists to support construction loads. As a result, the shoring requirements are minimized and can be placed up to 20 feet on center. One-way concrete floor/roof joists formed with this system can span approximately 30-35 feet. Spans greater than 40 feet can also be easily achieved using higher strength concrete and post-tensioned reinforcing cable strands.
Unlike many competing products, the Amvic system is assembled using small, standardized, lightweight modular units.
