After hearing of the infamous red paperclip story, Todd and Scotty Anderson of Houston decided to trade away their exclusive barter exchange franchise in Houston. After nine months the brothers had to admit "This paper pushing stuff just isnt for us" explained Scotty who prefers wide open spaces to an office. Todd nodded and agreed "This is just too much work for me, but great for maybe a retired couple who have a lot of time on their hands. We paid $259,000 for this franchise, but well take any reasonable item of value in trade" he explained. So far the pair have received offers of five German Sheperd Puppies, a 1957 Chevy, and an antique china cabinet. "Sooner or later the right deal will come along and we can bail out of here and get back to ranching" said Scott. "Yeah, maybe someone will offer us a couple of Harleys or a month at the playboy mansion" joked Todd. They bought the exchange nine months ago and the listed earning potential of the exchange is listed at $1.5 million. "It comes with 29 accounts and 2 computers". Scott and Todd said theyll consider all reasonable offers and keep us posted of the winning bid.
