Press Release:

A year after aspiring actor Eric Gores, AKA E-DOG, made his compelling debut as Tom Arnold's co-star in the heartfelt comedy "The Kid & I," which depicted Eric's life as he struggled with the challenges of having Cerebral Palsy and pursued his dream to be an actor, now has a new name, a new production company and a whole new set of possibilities.

Ask E-Dog What Is Cool in Hollywood
E-DOG, as Eric is now known, is working with Hollywood's Master Storytellers to develop a TV show, "Ask E-Dog What Is Cool in Hollywood", and has also recently hit the red carpet running as a Q&A moderator for special event presentations at Mann's Chinese Theaters in Hollywood. After his recent interview of Andy Garcia for a screening of "The Lost City," Gores will be sitting down tonight to chat with comic book legend Stan Lee and filmmaker Kevin Smith in honor of HMS' costume-themed presentation of "Spider-Man 2."

"We've been looking for someone to do pre-show interviews, so when I met E-DOG, I knew he'd be perfect," explains Hollywood's Master Storytellers Executive Producer Nadine Hamdan. Adds John Culton, CEO and Chairman of HMS sister company FilmStew.com, "We are so impressed by Eric's talents and charisma. We think he's a shining example of what is cool about Hollywood."

"The Kid and I", which also stars Henry Winkler, Joe Mantegna, Shannon Elizabeth and our own governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, mirrors E-DOG's real-life struggle with the challenges of having Cerebral Palsy and pursing his dream to be an actor. Directed by veteran filmmaker Penelope Spheeris ("Wayne's World," "The Beverly Hillbillies"), "The Kid & I" is now a brand new, October 24th DVD release.

In a town saturated with creative giver-uppers who don't face any physical challenges, E-DOG wakes up everyday with nothing but stars in his eyes… and in his Blackberry. Increasingly, the Hollywood glitterati want to be part of his social calendar and the famous are calling him in for parts on their feature films. "You can set your expectations high and believe they can come true," says E-DOG. "I love Hollywood and am really looking forward to working toward my success".

His aspirations for acting are merely the beginning. Producing and writing are in the loop, and down the road are plans to direct and sing. Creating challenges is what E-DOG does for himself, not the other way around. The DVD of "The Kid and I;" is an absolute must see if you're ready to be inspired.

The story is about Bill Williams (Arnold), a down-and-out actor who is unexpectedly hired to write a sequel a la "True Lies," the action film that made him famous more than a decade ago. When Bill learns that his co-star is Aaron Roman (Gores), a rich kid with no acting experience, what appeared to be the chance for a major comeback turns into a chaos.

As the duo embark on a journey of outrageous misadventures, the unlikely pair discover that it takes more courage to face real life challenges than it does fighting bad guys on the big screen. Although Aaron may be inexperienced in acting, his tenacious spirit, unwavering optimism and unconditional friendship turns out to be an important, enduring gift to Bill.

E-DOG views his real life in the same manner. Nothing is too complicated, no one can get in his way and every day is about creating challenges for himself as an actor and now a red carpet host
Catch E-DOG at Hollywood's Master Storytellers' presentation of Superstars and Superhero's this Monday, October 30th at 7:30 pm at Mann's Chinese Theaters in Hollywood. Following the screening of "SPIDER-MAN 2", there will be a live Q&A with writer-director Stan Lee and special guest host Kevin Smith at Grauman's Chinese Theatres Complex (mann's level 3 – Hollywood & Highland). Tickets available: www.hollywoodsmasterstorytellers.com
