The release coincides with the recent addition of two new distribution partners - Opsys Ltd. in Hungary, and AUTOCON Ltda. in Portuguese-speaking Brazil. Release 8.01 also contains some minor functionality updates, one allowing additions to dropdown files, and the other affecting work order data entry. Eagle Customers who have purchased ProTeus II will receive the release for free, and it will be included with all future ProTeus II sales.The ProTeus II program was released in early 2001 as the first maintenance software system to use CS2 Database Optimization Technology. CS2 lets ProTeus II run 3 to 5 times faster than any competitive CMMS by speeding interactions between the program and the latest Oracle and Microsoft databases.
