The J.L. Becker Company has entered Phase II of a Multi Phased Project of relocation of a major bearing manufacturer?s heat treating operation. In addition to relocation and reinstallation, they have built two mesh belt hardening furnaces to include two new continuous belt washers and two new mesh belt temper furnace.

The existing relocation site included a new J.L. Becker Company 30-48-30 gas fired with recuperators integral quench furnace line with companion temper, spray dunk washer, charge car and computer management system (CMS). The furnace system was a complete installation and commissioning by the J.L. Becker Company.

The first mesh belt line and the batch lines are up and operational. The second belt line will be operation by Mid April of 2007.

J.L. Becker Company has been known to relocate, service, design, repair, and build custom heat treating equipment. They have been a name in the heat treating industry for over 30 years. All their equipment has been engineered and designed to encompass a minimum of downtime for normal maintenance procedures. You will find that all their parts are readily available from local distributors and/or the J.L. Becker Company within a reasonable delivery time.

As for the design and engineering of their equipment, each customers process is somewhat similar, yet varied. Their furnaces are designed and manufactured to meet your specific requirements. Working with their customers is foremost in their philosophy, and therefore they have incorporated many unique concepts in their equipment. This includes PLC logic, position display boards, variable speed agitation, energy efficient insulation, easy accessibility for maintenance purposes, computer management systems, and extra heavy duty steel fabrication and construction.

The J.L. Becker Company was established in early 1970 as a manufacturers representative for five major component part suppliers for both captive and commercial heat treaters.
