Mental Training Workshop
Dan Schindlers 50 years in sporting clays--and 1.5 million shots studied confirms that scoring skills are 90% of advanced shooting. His mental game program, The Workshop, delivers practical, no nonsense guidelines that generate a more consistent performance and a higher X count. Building long runs takes disciplined focus and concentration. The program helps manage distractions and tournament pressures effectively. Hold your focus through all pairs, and then hold that same concentration on every field thereafter. Achieving real, measurable results, the Workshops highly informative sessions are conducted one on one or in a small groups and specifically answer questions in a language that shooters can relate to.

About The Workshop

  • Have you been in sporting for awhile now but cant seem to move up and are unsure about how?
  • Are you shooting well, know you are capable of better, but cant break through this seemingly endless performance barrier?
  • Do your competition scores continually come up short of what you know you are capable of?
  • Do your goals include touching your true potential as a sporting clays competitor, but the best way to go about that is still a work in progress?

For some, sporting clays develops into something more than looking forward to a casual round with friends. Suddenly it’s about breaking more targets. When the shooter comes to this realization, he or she faces some interesting questions, starting with how. What is the next step?

In my opinion, some consistency with the gun and on the score sheet should be the goal. This is the mechanical side of your game involving shooting methods, swing consistency etc. These are the critical fundamentals, the very foundation of your shooting game. So attention to this would be appropriate at this stage. Progress here can elevate your scores.

For those who want to go beyond this level, I ask you to consider the Workshop. 10% of your performance is mechanical, 90% is mental. The Workshop addresses the 90%.

Breaking targets isn’t overly difficult. Putting together a long, unbroken string of X’s is another story altogether. The Workshop is a 1/2 day, indoor session, that uncovers and clearly explains where you are, how you got here, where you are going and how to get to your goals. It stops all the unguided practice and provides a crystal clear blueprint on what we do, why we do it, how we do it,...and the best way to simplify and greatly improve all that.

The messages in the Workshop apply to all sports, and to varying degrees, all who participate in that sport. The Workshop messages reveal the very root causes of what so convincingly impedes and sometimes arrests shooter development. Until those issues are resolved, progress can only slow down, or at best be limited.

Advancing shooters don’t lack ability or talent. They lack direction. The Workshop provides this direction.
