How was the Circle Of Faith born? A story by Wendell Bole To explain The Circle Of Faith I have to go back in time Since I was a young man, I have always known that the Lord had me earmarked for a purpose. At the early age of 19 a mustard seed was planted in my heart but it took many years to develop.
My journey as a Reborn Christian began in 2006, but even though I loved the Lord and had been baptised, I did not serve Him. My flesh was still weak and the appeal of worldly values was still a part of me. I was Reborn, but in the closet. Thankfully the Lord is patient and in December 2007 I realised it was time to COME ON BOARD. After a frightening confrontation with Satan, I agreed to attend the 2008 Mighty Men Conference in Greytown at Angus Buchans farm, and watch the Mighty Men DVD from the previous year.
But it did not just happen like that! The first two discs didnt really do it for me, oh no!! The ever present, unrelenting attempts by the devil to keep me away from the word of Jesus Christ once again showed up. Its amazing how today I can look back and recognise these situations for what they really are. You see the devil does not want to lose a single candidate for his PIT, and he is going to tempt you every day, but once you have given your life to the Lord and you lean on Him and trust Him, you will have nothing to fear.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has ever overtaken you that is not common to man. GOD is faithful and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with temptation he will also provide you with a way to escape, that you may be able to endure it.
This is where Angus Buchan really became a messenger from GOD to me. After cycling one morning, I was alone at home and decided to flick through TV channels looking for something to watch, and there it was I must have had a room full of angels all wanting to watch Faith Like Potatoes! WOW MAN I got the message, Thank You Jesus! I had just jumped on board the JESUS train to Heaven
I was so moved by this film that I immediately watched the remaining 4 discs of the 2007 Mighty Men Conference. While watching the fifth disc, during the healing call, my elbow was healed and I knew this was my destiny and the start of my Journey with GOD.
After this experience I REALLY gave my life to the LORD, and I said LORD everything I have, it is yours, do with it what you will, Ill be your messenger.
I travelled down to Greytown on 18 April 2008 to attend the three day Mighty Men Conference and was unaware how my life, up until now, had been gently directed by our Lord Jesus Christ. Its all there in Gods plan.
Many miracles took place at the conference, people gave their lives to the Lord, people were healed, in fact my back was healed during the healing call. Then on Saturday during the morning session, I felt the presence of the LORD. I felt it so strong and at one point I was praying and suddenly felt so warm and from above, there was a hole in this HUGE tent and the sun was shining directly on me. I was astounded and completely emotional. I felt as though the LORD had his spotlight on ME.
However, it was in the evening session, when Angus asked if there was anyone who felt that the LORD had touched his heart for full time service that I knew the Lord had pushed my button, He had given me my cap and whistle and made me a CONDUCTOR ON HIS TRAIN. I must have been spring loaded because I shot up with my hands in the air there, I had done it, but what? And again I committed to the LORD, Whatever it is Lord but thy will and not my will.
Shortly after returning from the conference, the Lord gave me a vision for Revival. He showed me a 5km human Circle Of Faith, with everyone holding hands and praying for Revival, and so The Circle Of Faith was birthed.
The time has come for the mustard seed to begin to bear fruit. 1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk, but in power.
