Joseph Baptista, President of UltimatePerformanceCar.com is the inspiration behind this new and innovative site. “As a consumer whose hobby is car customizing, I was always frustrated by the fact that many of the tools or parts I needed weren’t available in Canada. Whenever I ordered anything from the United States, there would always be brokerage fees or duty that I did not expect, so the parts always cost too much. I preferred to purchase my products over the internet but there was limited internet selection in Canada.”
It was this fact that inspired Baptista to combine his passion for cars with his 20 years of experience in retail and internet technology. UltimatePerformanceCar.com was born.
“We want to give the Canadian consumer a better deal when they purchase products for their classic car restoration, custom car, or sport compact upgrade. We also want to give them access to some of the biggest catalogues available in the United States online in Canada. By collaborating with the distribution companies, we are able to acquire products at a discounted rate and then pass the savings onto the Canadian consumer.
