Matthew Yakovleff is a longtime member of the construction trades community and Construction Manager for Haystack Highlands Construction, LLC. “I started on a roofing crew the summer I turned 16 years old”. Has completed the course work necessary to receive a Certified Green Professional (CGP) Designation from the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders). While attending the International Builders Show (the NAHB annual trade show) Matthew attended a two-day, intensive class, Green Building for Building Professionals. Subsequently he attended the Business Management for Building Professionals in Westborough, MA. Attending these two courses and passing the required stringent tests makes Mr. Yakovleff eligible for the CGP Designation.
Mr. Yakovleff has long been interested in Green Building, particularly the energy efficiency portion, and has attended many workshops and conferences on the subject. However “I do appreciate the ability to attain this official, nationally recognized, designation to gain the recognition of my peers and clients” he said.
