Press Release:
The Iron Angels Calendar Models and Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) along with Iron Angels publisher, Lucas Foxx, Walter Hellstrom, owner of Wally’s World Custom Choppers and Internationally renowned custom painter, Ivy Trosclair, Jr. of Metry Custom Cycles have completed production of the Ultimate Custom Chopper to be debuted on November 18, 2005 at Wally’s World Custom Choppers.
After the unveiling of this one-of-a-kind Custom Chopper valued at over $60,000, BACA will take the bike to every major motorcycle event offering it in a raffle to raise funds for abused children nationwide with the winner being announced in Unadilla, GA at the first ever Iron Angels MC Rally and Music Festival, October 12-15, 2006.
Heidi Foxx, Director of Model Relations and Cover Girl for the Iron Angels said “With the high profile cases of Jetseta Gage, Sarah Lunde Jessica Lunsford and others, all being murdered by known sexual predators, we were compelled to take a pro-active stance to make sure that this will never happen again. Our children are our future.” By donating the custom chopper to BACA the Iron Angels hope to raise over one million dollars to make America’s streets safe for children. The Twenty-dollar raffle ticket is offered as a tax-deductible donation to Bikers Against Child Abuse, Inc, a tax-exempt 501 (C) (3) corporation.
BACA was founded by Native American John Paul “Chief” Lilly. Chief is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor, and Part-time faculty at Brigham Young University. He has been in practice for twenty years specializing in the treatment of abused children. Chief became keenly aware that while the system was able to offer much in the way of helping the children to heal, there were gaps that needed to be filled.
The two major gaps were: Providing for the safety of the children and providing funding for their therapy. BACA’s members, who have all taken a solom vow of nonviolence, provide protection to the children through their chapters by assigning members to the child at risk that will stay with them twenty-four hours a day if nessesary. Then Nationally, raise funds for therapy through corporate charitable donations, fundraising events and raffles. They work in conjunction with local and state officials who are already in place to protect children. BACA sends a clear message to all involved with the abused child that this child is part of their organization, and that they are prepared to lend physical and emotional support to them by affiliation, and physical presence. BACA exists as a body of Bikers to empower children to not feel afraid of the world in which they live and ready to lend support to those in need by involving them with an established, united organization.
“The final paragraph of a traditional news release contains the least newsworthy material,” said Mario Bonilla, customer service representative for PR Web™. “But for an online release, it’s typical to restate and summarize the key points with a paragraph like the next one.”
