It seems www.Gambling911.com - the global leader in gambling news as it relates to entertainment, sports, online poker rooms and politics - might just have enough star power to light up an entire galaxy....well, at least a Hollywood movie set.
The popular online news portal, famous for its talented and "busty" reporting staff, has seen its traffic skyrocket over the past few weeks in the heels of Former Indianapolis Colts cheerleader Lisa Perry's much ballyhooed feature in the December 2005 issue of Playboy.
"Lisa Perry is one of our sports commentators and has also served as an NFL handicapper," commented Thomas Jensen, Media Coordinator and Marketing Director for Gambling911.com. "She is also featured on page 28 of the December 2005 issue of Playboy and this in turn has garnered Gambling911 much attention."
In that issue, Ms. Perry mentions her affiliation with Gambling911.com while dropping a bombshell regarding why she claims to have been released by the Indianapolis Colts organization.
"We were in Tokyo for a preseason game. Afterward I went to my room to take a shower. Other girls came in, and they were sitting around eating when there was a knock on the door. I figured it was another cheerleader, so I said, “Come in.” The door opened and it was a couple of players. I was like, “Shut my door. What are you guys doing?” I’m in a towel. It looks bad—though I do look good in a towel. Sure enough, I got caught. A high-profile player, who shall remain nameless, was hiding in my shower."
Gambling911.com also features the highly acclaimed reporter (and a bombshell in her own right) Jenny Woo.
Ms. Woo will be causing many hearts to speed up this Sunday at the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Ford 400 where she will be covering that race for Gambling911.com in conjunction with the NASCAR team #37, driver Tony Raines and that car's sponsor, BoSPOKER.net (www.BoSpoker.net).
"We are so proud to be participating in this huge event on behalf of our own sponsor here at Gambling911.com, BoSPOKER.net," Jenny Woo said. "I'm looking forward to a day of prancing around in my skimpy little outfit, meeting people from all over the United States who have a love for NASCAR."
NASCAR is big business, even during a busy football weekend. Ford Championship Weekend, a three-day event that started yesterday, draws tens of thousands of out-of-state fans, 150 race teams, Fortune 500 corporate sponsor outings, national TV and print exposure and a $150 million economic jolt to South Florida.
"Gambling911.com, while enjoying a global audience, prides itself on covering localized events like no other media outlet can," Ms. Woo stated. "I'm not quite sure that NBC has anybody quite like Yours Truly reporting and talking to the fans. I love mingling and this is something the NASCAR fans are looking for. I'm looking forward to familiarizing more and more people with not only the Gambling911.com brand but also the BoSPoker.net and BetonSports brands."

And finally, it was announced Friday that Gambling911's own AJ Benza - the one time host of "E!'s Mysteries and Scandals" and a regular on The Howard Stern Show - will be cast as Antonio Tarver's sports agent in the much anticipated Sylvester Stallone film, Rocky IV.
