Press Release:

The Connextions Group, specializing in holiday rental property and tours in Italy, as well as in Italian cookery classes, had a profitable outing at the World Travel Market 2005, a prestigious gathering of international travel trade representatives, which concluded in London last month.

The group, headed by two Australians Elizabeth Morris and Meaghan Barr, has various divisions – 'Travel Tuscany' focuses on property rentals throughout the Tuscan region, 'Good Tastes of Tuscany' is their cooking school division, with other departments offering vacation rentals throughout Italy and then exclusive properties worldwide. The company caters to the wide-ranging needs of tourists of various categories from across the globe. It offers different types of accommodation, including castles, rustic farmhouses and apartments in the center of cities. It promises personalized service to make each holiday a memorable experience. Representatives offer help and guidance on everything from arranging a wedding to booking a taxi. The cooking classes can also be tailored to cater to individual requets in terms of both time, dietary requirements and skil level.

The World Travel Market, an established annual event in the world travel agents’ agenda, has been growing steadily over the years in regard to both number of participants and floor space occupied. This year witnessed a record 5% overall increase in attendance, with the figures almost touching 49,000. There was also a 4% jump in exhibiting space and an 8% increase in international visitors.

The four-day event, staged at the ExCel Exhibition Centre in London’s Dockyards, started on November 14th 2005 and included several new features, such as a dedicated ‘show within a show’ Travel Technology area; a Personal Event Planner (PEP) to connect visitors to appropriate exhibitors and a focus on airlines and hotels Over 70 stage events, seminars and conferences were held, and the majority of them were over subscribed.

“It was great! A successful show for meeting potential travel agent and tour operator partners. We have already begun to formulate new agreements for both our cooking products and the villa rentals. We are also engaged in talks with prospective airlines to offer 'getaway' packages through this channel,” says Elizabeth Morris, President, Connextions Group Inc..

“The best response has been to our 7 Day Culinary and Cultural program as so many people all around the world just love Italian food and the thought of coming to Tuscany to spend a week with us is very attractive!!” she says.

The cooking classes cater to various levels, from the novice to the advanced cook, and the qualified italian chefs impart many a trade secret not found in any cookery book.

The Connextions Group Inc., which prides itself on personalized care in arranging vacation rentals in Italy and conducting customized cooking classes, is upbeat about the projected results of its participation at the well-attended World Travel Market 2005. The company expects the exercise to bear fruit quite soon.
