I bet you cant tell me... what this most important factor is when setting your goals?
Setting your goals is really not hard work. In fact its very easy. Let me show you 3 easy steps in setting your goals.
Step 1.
Write your goals down.
There a good reason why you need to write it down. Its making a commitment. When you write things down you are challenging yourself.
Write your goals down on a piece of paper or index card. Post them everywhere you can see them. On the bathroom mirror, the frigerator,in your car, everywhere.
What you are doing here is building a positive belief system. But it can only happen by putting it in writing first.
Step 2:
Develop the Why for your goal.
If the way is big enough the how doesnt matter. You may have heard that before. Well, its true.
The why must be broken down into a emotion. Whats that.
Let me explain.
If youre goal is to "Have an Successful Home Businesss"
Well, Why? Why, do you want a home business.
You say, "To make money." Why,?
"To be able to spend time with the kids." Again, Why?
Maybe when I was a kid my mom would go out to work and Id miss her. I wanted her there and I want to be there for my kids now.
Can you feel that? Does that paint a better picture of the Why? Break it down where you cant go any further.
Step 3:
Act AS IF it already happen
The imagination is a very powerful thing. It cant tell reality from make belief.
If you act like it happened it will happen or it is true.
Focus on them happening. Focus on the positive and positive will happen. Focus on anything else and that will probably happen too. Thats only a law of nature.
Okay are you ready? Get that piece of paper or index cards and write down your goals. Tonight before you turn in. Look in the bathroom mirror and read your goals. Look into the person eyes on the other side. The eyes will change and you will begin to believe them. Starting tonight.
Next, act as if whatever it is you want is already happening. Remember this, you must change to get the thing it is that you want. You cant be the same person and reach your goals. You will have to make that change and that will have to be on the inside first not the outside.
You can only live today. Not yesterday, not tomorrrow. Do it today and you will begin to feel yourself reaching newer heights.
Grab that piece of paper and write down your goals.
