Since December 20, 2005 PicksPal.com has awarded its weekly winners with portable DVD players, and its millionaires with iPods and plaques. It also awarded the winner of its first ever annual College Bowl Shootout with an iPod and a plaque, but with the Super Bowl being the biggest sporting event of the year, PicksPal.com has also made its prizes bigger – 42 inches bigger to be exact.
For the week ending on February 5, the player with the most points will receive a 42-inch plasma flat panel HDTV and be crowned PicksPal.com’s first ever Super Bowl Blowout Contest winner. Players start with 1000 points at the beginning of each week which they can use to pick games and props in all major sporting events, such as the Super Bowl, college basketball, hockey, golf and others. The picks are based on current odds and real results, so players can use their sports knowledge to win prizes.
PicksPal.com players will be able to pick the winner of the big game, and the Super Bowl Blowout Contest will also allow PicksPal.com to showcase more of its entertaining props and NFL odds. The contest will feature such unique off-the-wall props as: “Will there be a Burger King commercial with The King scoring a TD during the game,” and “Will you see a fan with a Cowher Power sign during the game?”
